Valencia College is seeking an 8 Month Temporary Professor of Dental Hygiene to join our dedicated, passionate allied health team for the 2022 Academic semester (Fall 2022 and Spring 2023).

We are looking for someone passionate about working with students aspiring toward a career pathway in dental hygiene. Valencia's dental hygiene program supports a fully functional dental hygiene clinic on West Campus where program students provide preventive dental hygiene services to the student population and the general public.

In this role, you will be responsible for teaching in the dental hygiene discipline. Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student learning in keeping with Valencia's learning­ centered values and in a manner that meets the essential competencies of a Valencia educator.

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Dental Hygiene from a regionally accredited institution [Required]
• Must possess an active unencumbered State of Florida Registered Dental Hygiene license [Required]

Anticipated Salary: Temporary Faculty rates are flat amounts based on educational degree for the duration of the temporary contract: Salary Schedule
